V-Ray
V-Ray is a plug-in for third-party 3D software such as 3ds Max and Maya. In architectural and civil engineering, it is used for visualisation and graphics. V-Ray works seamlessly with SketchUp and Revit. It has an extensive material library and resources. Hence, it is widely used to create photo-realistic presentations of buildings, interiors, and other civil structures.
The V-Ray course covers the techniques to create realistic visualisations and quick animations with V-Ray.
For this, it focuses on training students to master key features of V-Ray such as light and shadow, real-world material rendering, and aerial perspectives, among others.
Training will be given on the following key aspects:
V-Ray rendering engines
V-Ray Image sampling techniques
V-Ray lights
Global Illumination for exterior scenes
Global Illumination for Interior scenes
V-Ray physical camera
V-ray aerial perspective
V-Ray objects
V-Ray render elements
Students pursuing or completed Architectural and Civil Engineering
Students of diploma / ITI / certificate courses in these disciplines
